  • New Roland (desktop?) Synth

"Now, the first prototype of one of the news coming on 8/31 arrived at the office! Sounds damn good ... More than 10 days left, then we'll reveal what it is ..."

From the looks of things, it appears to be a desktop synth module of some sort. A new Groovebox, perhaps?
Hard: JP-8000, MC-505, R3, microSTATION, Moog Theremin, miniKP, Ineko, Bitrman
Soft: Ableton Live 8, Korg Legacy Collection, FM8, D16 Classic Boxes/SilverLine Collection

Groovebox or tabletop Gaia or V-synth or other virtual analog-y synth? - YES.

Jupiter 8 module as the link suggests? - DNW ...unless if as it suggests, it's knobby.

Analog module - WANT but not likely at all

It's the new V-Accordian rack module. But seriously, probably a new groove box?

It's more likely to be a tabletop/rackmount Jupiter-80 variant. I guess we'll wait and see. My hopes with them faded years ago,

At least they're not doing one of their letdown-countdowns.

I some how got good vibrations from this. I have good feeling about this and it makes me very excited. I know it probably isn't V-Synth 2-3, which would be in my top-3 most wanted list, but there's still couple of slightly probable very exciting possibilities.
I am wanting, I am thinking
To arise and go forth singing,
Sing my songs and say my sayings,
                            Hymns ancestral harmonizing,
                            Lore of kindred lyricking.
                            In my mouth the words are melting;
                            Utterances overflowing
                            To my tongue are hurrying,
Even against my teeth they burst.
