Perhaps unfortunately, like everywhere else where recording types are known to gather, there has been an enormous influx of people who are, shall we say, definitely not self-starters. (As they say in the job adverts.) One proviso I'll put out on GS... there is a lot of buzz-think... you know: a concept or a product will be hot, hot, hot, gotta have... and a year and a half later, opinion will have all but inverted on it... there's a lot of faddishness of thought -- and a LOT of passed along misinformation. But, you know, that's the web for you, in general, I guess... But there are also a lot of very knowledgeable professionals and more than a couple genuine legends (uh, like, here, too of course! ) I enjoy both very much and, of course, am occasionally frustrated, as well, by my own impatience with the human race.
