  1. Anybody using dedicated buffers in their signal chain? I mean in addition to any on the pedals themselves? I tried a couple bypassed TSs and they made some difference on a 20' Planet Waves although I did like the straight in sound of that cable. 10' George Ls was like auditioning Monster Cable hifi interconnects. Don't even know if I could or couldn't detect a difference. Anyway do they have any purpose other than restoring capacitance loss?
  2. and impending brokass. I got stuff I wanted.
  3. It was the happenin' rock place but refused to budge therof.
  4. That's the kind of stuff they used to post 10 years ago.
  5. Oh wait, teflon tape already exists. Might work.
  6. I know. Graphite tape. Somebody'll think of it...
  7. It's not threaded? If that's the case a suitable liner or bushing might help. (?)
  8. I remember Ambrosia. Near prog pop band or vice versa. How about Keep Me Hanging On the Vanilla Fudge version.
  9. Ok. Have it on my desk before closing. The forum closing...
  10. The EJ Dover tone is supposedly mostly fuzz face and delay. The Marshall too of course. This pedal tried and mostly succeeded but bombed. Too bad. It makes awesome toan.
  11. You think maybe they're celebrating the heist of the land? Food's awesome...
  12. Yeah. Those circuits that make lights fluckchewate. You could have the thing look like fireworks in sync to the crashes.
  13. Put them on wire "wheels" attached to whatever those straps are called. Drive them with an audio flucker.
  14. Way ahead. Have half a dozen. Xotic clones, a Klon clone, and 2 Kokko boosters that make gorgeous toan. I had been experimenting manually between pre and post locations and wanted a less tedious approach. Meanwhile the Xotic clones are amazing overdrives besides boosters so obviously I must look into AB ing them in the same chain. I figured an ABY pedal would do it but they don't come with a proper summing cable nor have I found any to purchase. Hence this thread. I retired my Yamaha tabletop mixer in favor of a Behringer Mackie knockoff but that's in use being my home stereo preamp. (kills incidentally) The other thing is I have this notion that putting a mixer send or bus into the front of my amp will suck.
  15. Oh yeah, thanks for the input guys. 👍
  16. I have a single input on the preamp. No AC pedals, all isolated via BBE power brick but the only toan in my fingers is this thuddy drumming sound. What I originally wanted to do was switch boost from pre to post but I probably need a loop switcher for that. Meanwhile I've been manually swapping stuff around and getting good if somewhat tedious results.
  17. Briefly, I want to split my signal chain to a/b various pedals. Do I need 2 ABY pedals? Just a merge after the split? Will I have grounding issues? (none straight through) The future of toan is at stake. Thanks.
  18. What type of circuit makes the tightest sounding tubes? Class A?
  19. 15k and I'll try and make one for you. Actually since the advent of actual price Chinese ODs, I don't have much axe gas anymore.
