  1. Too much corset effect I think.
  2. Nothing some woodwork can't fix.
  3. Then too, Metal, painful dermal disfiguration, diabolical overhead. Opera, making enough money to get obese. Sorry it seems to be a draw.
  4. The genre lacks any of the specificity of classical music. Apples and corpses.

  6. Dunnit emphasize bass ?
  7. Not that it was stylistic or anything but It's good to go for it and get lost. I gotta also say that rockers by and large lack the musical sensibility and plain rhythm to fly it but hey...
  8. Rowin won't take a battery. The Hermida Zen Drive (now made by Love Pedal) is a good choice. The only one I can think of that does the super clean AND the Robben Ford is Ethos. Good luck getting one of those.

    NUAD!!

Wonder if Europe spell check will correct that to NUDA.
  10. Yup. It's got everything except 6L6s which would only help for that Dire Straits Money For Nothing crunch.
  11. Speaking of whatever the prretzuhl minz, Dutch Guitar Dude says the Larry Carlton sound is done by putting a booster after the overdrive. I guess that's how the OD Special works. I tried that configuration and you can get some extra compression/sustain from minimal drive. For the more recognizable Robben Ford grind, I use my Chinese Dumbler straight into the amp.
  12. This may be painfully obvious and insulting but the value of ODs is very much a function of the quality of your playing; IMO more so with those Dumblers. Also Dumble built amps to suit the individual player's comfort zone. I'd say just buy it and see if it does anything for you.
  13. Woman roar. I liked it. Groove clash with the weedlies over shuffle but slop not withstanding, it fit. The Scott Henderson key extension was my favorite part.
  14. Two go to toans. Neck, bright as possible with slight drive. Bridge, full on for crunch, way down for Dumbly singing. Tone from max ground to less, depending on clarity preference. Well, three ish but I'm a guitarer not a mathmetician.
  15. Gotta take your word for it. Seems to me like cap and resistor in series is the same as resistor and cap in series. Been too long since I poked around inside my guitar.
  16. Having trouble picturing this.
  17. It all goes to ground doesn't it?
  18. I gotta ask if that is or not the same thing. (?)
