I'll play:

I had a hard time choosing the color of my XV-910 - this amber one looks stunning too, the red is classic (but fit an ES-335 better I think), black and white were classy but I have many black or white guitars - so it was the surf green and I'm very happy with it. Amber was a close second though :thu: .

Here's my first generation Korean one...it now sports TV Jones Classics (Plus in the bridge) and I had a Bigsby on there for a while..it's off right now. Gotoh locking tuners and a Wilkinsen roller bridge.

Might sell her....might keep her...haven't decided yet...well, actually I think about selling it all the time, then I pick it up to play and change my mind....like six times now.

Mr. Moocher, how would you compare the 910 with the Casino? I'm guessing some of the tone diff would be due to the full hollow vs. semi-hollow.

When I saw the XV-910, it was like a little dream come true: I love my Casino to death, the clean and light crunch tones are to die for but even a Malcolm Young-like crunch generates too much feedback at stage volume (for recording it's ok though).

So here's the XV-910 with its central log. Of course, the acoustic tone is much lower than the Casino, and the clean tones are really great but lacks a little bit of the hollow chime - but it's close enough for stage, and the overdriven tones are wonderfull. There's still a hint of feedback with the neck pu and a good amount of distortion, but under control. You can achieve great lead tones with lots of sustain, it really sings  .
