Members crashclc
I absolutely love my '08 Desert Burst LP Standard even more after a thorough professional setup. It is amazing how crap it was from the factory and how fabulous it is now after being worked over by a master luthier. So NOW I'm thinking I could get talked into a gold top. I know it is just gaudy as hell but so what? If you've got it, flaunt the bling baby.
Members Ferdinandstrat
I want to draw a picture of a bunch of Les Pauls and a hand sticking out of it, and above a saying: "You cant have too many Les Pauls my ass" I still love the damn thing. Members Carbohydrates
By the way, that Blonde Beauty was pretty much a perfect guitar except the damn 60's neck. I dunno how you guys can stand those things. 50's neck on it and I wouldn't need another Les Paul ever again. Alas, I had to sell it.

Members Carbohydrates
That doesn't look like a VOS. It look like full gloss Gorgeous LP! All of yours are very cool. Deceptive shot, I think. It's getting hit straight-on by sunlight in that shot. It was a VOS, though.

Guest Anonymous
Traditionals are quite a bargain in the Les Paul world. It was a toss up between one of those and the R8 for me, but ultimately the R8 won. It could have gone either way though.
Members Chairborne
Most of 'em. This is an old pic. Traded . . . for two more LPs! Amp is gone. Guitar is still here.

Members echale3
Currently own: 2007 LP VM, heavy mods: What pickups are in your VM? Here's my VM before I added cream-colored pickup rings, cream-colored switch ring, and amber top hat knobs... I did have a Faded LP DC Special but the neck just didn't do it for me, and the neck joint was weak enough that I could get some serious tremolo on it just by waving my left hand back and forth. I traded it off. I had an Epiphone LP, but once I got my VM, the Epi's shortcomings really showed up by comparison, so it's gone too....

Members Carbohydrates
What pickups are in your VM? Vintage Vibe P90s. They're pretty good, but I'll probably try out something else down the road. For P90s, these have a pretty lackluster clean tone.
Members Willyguitar
I would love to have multiple Les Pauls. Unfortunately I don't have a great multitude of notes... so I am managing with one for the moment!
