Brian Jones death to be re-investigated

The truth?

Re-examined does not mean re-investigated. This will pretty much be the same as a cold case review that police departments are required to do every year on unsolved cases.

As for the truth, it's too long to expect anything significant. Witness' testimony is usually highly inaccurate just minutes after a crime, make it years and their testimony is totally useless.

His death is too ambiguous to expect a definitive answer and it will just fuel pointless allegations.

Not the same Wyatt, this is as a result of possible new evidence that should it prove to be substantial will result in a possible reinvestigation, and it seems from some radio news that it may possibly be of that sort of nature.

It's too late, this after the fact investigations generally falter. Even if they can determine a possible homicide, they can never prove it. I guessing this gets swept under the rug pretty fast. It's a PR nightmare for the police.

Proof would depend on the nature of the evidence, we've had quite a few 20-30 year old crimes slolved with convictions. The verdict on his death was misadventure so no criminal proceedings were ever brought. If the nature of the evidence suggests that this verdict was wrong it will have to be reinvestigated, there'll be no choice

I recall hearing that at the time he was having work done at the house and apparently there were some verbal dust ups between him and the workmen. The workmen apparently none too impressed with Jones, who at this time was quite fragile from drug abuse and drink. The idea was that maybe something got out of hand and he was killed by the workmen, like manslaughter.

Anymore? He didn't die "anymore" ago

Jimi Hendrix was "murdered"...

Kurt Cobain was "murdered"...

Jim Morrison was "murdered"...

Brian Jones was "murdered"...

Michael Jackson was "murdered"...

I was referring to the recent media fad of attaching highly speculative murder theories to well-documented celebrity deaths. It's easy to see why - it's entertaining, it sells books, it boosts ratings and record sales. But it would be a shame to see someone's life or reputation ruined should one of these "investigations" go too far.

not recent.

As long as famous people die in ways other than obviously illness, the media whave been doing this.

Its just that now you get it from every direction 24/7 without a break.
