The chime is there but different and the gain on the NT is truly fine.A very different sounding amp. Sounds more like a big AC4 than an AC30 to me. I love mine it's just a lot more power than I need, it never leaves triode mode. thanks i use the cab in the pic below.... i don't use triode mode... i find it hums a bit luckily i have a booth (you see it behind the amp in the pic)... i keep the cab in the iso booth (mic'd) and leave the amp outside for me to tweak... it allows me to crank it without bugging anyone Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I've heard they sound incredible together and your recording definitely shows it. I have my Vox Night Train hooked up to a 10" THD vintage but I don't think it does the amp justice.
