Members Metalrulez
I like it my self. My Squier HSS Mahogany Deluxe has the headstock the same honey color as the body.I think the guitar would look stupid with a neeeked color headstock. Members Pine Apple Slim
Looks best w/pastel colors and rosewood boards. On maple boards, just looks wrong.
Members CompleteGuitard
hideous. I own one anyways. eventually i'll swap the neck, but for now the guitar sounds so good I barely even look at it
Members lefchr
depends on the guitar, strats, jazzmasters and jaguars, it looks good, especially candy apple red. In fact its the only way I like candy apple red:cop:
Members danswon
love them with rosewood 'boards. classy. prefer them to natural wood
Members Mike Fiasco
I like the matching on my Fender Sonoran... I played one last night. I'm surprised how nice it was.
Members BronxParadise
i dig the matching crimson red headstock on my squier stratdeluxe satin model from a few years back with dual buckersnice guitar for
Members jdgm
I like em. 62 Vintage players deluxe FSR, and 58RI in Burgundy Mist Stunning, those are just beautiful. I love matching headstocks and happen to prefer rosewood boards; I have a black System III Strat from the 80s and just got a black Aerodyne Strat to go with it; both have black headstocks and rosewood boards. I wish Fender would do the matching headstock on more Strats.
Members flori
Seems to work ok on my Aerodyne...........but as others have said, it definitely depends on the colour of the body and seems to work best with rosewood boards.
Members GreaserMatt
I dig 'em, but I don't seek them out; a regular maple headstock is cool w/ me. I'm more concerned about how the guitar plays/feels; and also the price of course! Matt Edit - I'd buy/play a blue frankenjag (or other model) w/ a green headstock, or whatevre if it felt/played nice. And was cheap of course! Members pedalboard
I think they're pretty cool. As long as the color itself is good to start with, it adds to it.
Members chadd
If there is enough nitro left in the can I may do a matching headstock on the strat I'm working on right now. Sonic blue with rosewood, it should look nice.

Members Doctor Morbius
On the matching headstock thing, I think it really depends on the guitar and color as to whether or not I like it.
Members BlackCustom
I like matching headstocks, and agree that they seem to look better with a RW board. It's not a guitar, but...

Members pvwolfgang5150
I really, really want one of those special edition American Standard Strats, in Surf Green with the matching headstock. But A; I can't afford one, and won't be able to for years, and B; they're probably all gone I love anything Surf Green I completely agree.

Members Muddslide
Looks GREAT with rosewood necks.... I've seen some with maple, and it did not look good to me +1. Looks great with rosewood necks, especialy certain models and certain colors. For some reason, it looks really cheap to me with maple fingerboards. Members bluesguyjon
/dislike i'm more of a traditionalist, and anyway at first glance it makes it look like the guitar is trying to look cool, rather than sound good. like the guy above me said, it also to me makes the guitar look cheap. can't explain it.
