I like em. 62 Vintage players deluxe FSR, and 58RI in Burgundy Mist

Stunning, those are just beautiful. I love matching headstocks and happen to prefer rosewood boards; I have a black System III Strat from the 80s and just got a black Aerodyne Strat to go with it; both have black headstocks and rosewood boards. I wish Fender would do the matching headstock on more Strats.

I dig 'em, but I don't seek them out; a regular maple headstock is cool w/ me. I'm more concerned about how the guitar plays/feels; and also the price of course! Matt

Edit - I'd buy/play a blue frankenjag (or other model) w/ a green headstock, or whatevre if it felt/played nice. And was cheap of course! LOL

Looks GREAT with rosewood necks.... I've seen some with maple, and it did not look good to me

+1.

Looks great with rosewood necks, especialy certain models and certain colors.

For some reason, it looks really cheap to me with maple fingerboards.
