Members bonaventura
hi, coupla days back, got to play a pacifica 612 and the guitar features a push-push pot instead of a push-pull pot. cool feature. so to split the bridge humbucker i only needed to tap the pot with my right hand palm instead of having to pull the pot. which can be akward sometimes. can anyone tell me how durable this type of pot is? im thinking of modding my guitar thanks. Members Faber
I have one in my parts strat that I use to get the bridge + neck sound. It's held up for two years so far without a hitch. I've been considering a mini toggle because I think it can be a bit cumbersome to pull it with sweaty hands, but it's been durable so far.

Members AXEL276
Warmoth sells them. I have a set on my Tele w/P-Rails. I like them much better than push/pull. No problems, they seem sturdy.
Members Will Chen
I've got one which has been in and out of a few guitars. Love it. Definitely prefer push/push to push/pull.

Members Jim_Soloway
We tried them a few years ago and they had a horrible failure rate. Some held up just fine, but about 1 in 3 was dead within the first few days.

Members lefchr
The only problem that I have had with them is if they where pulled up. Other than that I haven't had a problem with them.

Members Belva
I'm interested in one of these. I think durability is like anything else. Kinda like how a woman is like a screen door. The more ya bang 'em the looser they get.But how do you know which position it's in? Gotta plug in and play a bit I guess.
Members DeadNight Warrior
But how do you know which position it's in? Gotta plug in and play a bit I guess. It pops up when you push it, much like a push-pull in the pulled position.

Members DeadNight Warrior
I'm getting ready for a new build. I like this idea. I've got push-push pots on my main guitar for coil splitting, but push-pulls on my others. I definitely prefer the push-push pots.
Members MahaloVision
i haven't tried the push/push pots. The push/pull pots can be a bit sensitive to heat when soldering, so use some kind of heat sink.
