Members SpaceProg
My 84 Japanese Ibanez AE 405-TV. If acoustic stuff sounds good on that guitar, it will on just about any other. Plus, I've just grown really fond of it over time. I can't imagine ever selling it. It's the one in front of the Strat... if that wasn't obvious. The pickguard wasn't factory. I added that, though in retrospect I probably should have gone with tortoise instead of black, as the purfling is trimmed in tortoise as well as the rosette. Members turdadactyl
Taylor 614CE. Plays as easily as most electrics and still sounds amazing.
Members Stackabones
Lately, it's been my Yamaha FS720S strung with Thomastik-Infeld Plectrums (flatwounds on a flat top). For acoustic jams, I take my Gitane D500.
Members Oldskool Texas
Taylor 416ce LTD. I've had Martins, Guilds, and Gibsons, but this one beats them all for tone and playabilty.
Moderators BATCAT Posted January 14, 2011 Moderators Share Posted January 14, 2011 My dinged-up $200 pawnshop score Yamaha (some European-market FG-series oddball) has been my one and only acoustic for over ten years. I prefer it to a lot of guitars I've played costing several times what's it's worth.
Members bluesnapper
1970s Suzuki 'Three'. I don't know much about - solid back and sides, laminated top - but a nice one - it's really loud and resonant for a laminate. I think Martin let them copy their style under license. The back is a lovely inlaid three-piece (because one or two large pieces of wood cost too much at the time!) Nice guitar. I'm saving for a Martin or similar though

Members jerry_picker
My rebuilt Vicente Tatay Classical, lately. I bought it for a couple bucks (in pieces) at a garage sale, and put it back together. Sounds and plays sweet. I also have a Martin 000-15 and a Gibson J-200, but those rest in their cases for the time being. ' alt='>'>
Members cuppster
My first steel string is still the best sounding acoustic I own: Fender CD140S. It's also the only guitar I ever auditioned and bought in person.
Members cratz2
I'm a cheap bastard. My favorite is a Korean Samick/Gregg Bennett A/E with a cedar top. Not crazy about the electronics in it, but acoustically it sounds pretty tits. And I bought it used from Guitar Center for $100.

Members Strat87
Nothing fancy here, just an Epi Hummingbird. Plays very well though, and sounds great especially considering the price point. I don't consider myself a serious acoustic player so I'm not ready to spend a lot on one. Members nuke_diver
Fender F-15 1st guitar and given to me by my late Mom so I'll never sell it. And it plays fine, not like a $2K Martin or Taylor but good enough for me. The front's got some crack in the finish, I punched a big hole in the side when a picture fell off the wall and hit it, my dog scratched it to stop me from playing and I've personally banged it up and dropped numerous things on it while camping etc. I still love it
Members Wulver
This one, a vintage Harmony Broadway. Loud as hell, yet classy. Not as rich sounding as a flattop acoustic, but very heavy in the midrange and good for cutting through an acoustic jam. I've since removed the pickguard, since it's not original anyway. ....looking at the other pics in this thread, I really need a better shot of this...
