One is a 3-way pup selector, the other is a tone circuit selector, sometimes known as the "mud switch."

haha~ it's a pretty appropriate description. tones can range from sharp and biting to muffled and bassy. not every tone in this guitar is a good one, but the ones that are good are REALLY good.

Love it! It's great that you avoided the binding rot and the need for a neck reset. I love Gretsches new and old, and I love the HiLoTron in my Clipper. Hope you enjoy it! Nothing like a Brooklyn USA Gretsch!

I've always loved these guitars. Green is my favorite color but I usually don't like it on guitars. These particular Gretsches were always an exception though. Something about the two-tone; I think it reminds me of my grandma's old kitchen cabinets :) (a very pleasant memory!). Congrats man!
