Members Jkater
I mean on a regular basis, even leaving the bar on. Most strats I see here have the trem bar removed.
Members jelloman
the bar is in the storage box in the case...I don't play much that NEEDS it, and all it does is knock a standard strat out of tune...
Members kit_strong
I don't do any crazy dive bombing or anything but I do use my Trem pretty regularly without any tuning issues/
Members hecticone
Use it all the time a proper setup strat shouldn't go out of tune just because you use it.
Members Argh! Zombies!
I have three and never attach the arms. I've never liked the idea, mechanically, of threaded tremolos. Stripped a couple in my younger days. Now either it's a plug-in trem or I leave it alone. Wish hardtail Strats were more prevalent.
Members straycat113
I am not big on trem usage but I leave the bar on all of mine.
Members Cobalt Blue
Use the trem occasionally, but not with the bar, with the heel of my palm. If I played a G&L, I probably would buy/try one of these: http://umphreysmcgee.shop.musictoday.com/Product.aspx?pc=UYAM42
Members Into Nation
I use the trem and have the bridge against the body just snug enough that a bend will not allow another string to go flat.
Members Metalrulez
I leave the bar on and abuse the hell out of it when I play my Strat. As an added bonus it stays in tune too.
Members DaleH
I leave the bar on. Don't use it a lot though.
Members Superrust
I use it very lightly when running through some jazz chords but most of the time I forget it's there.
Members wagdog
On my srv, never... and on my hardtail strat, never.
Members Burgess
Trem on my Strat is blocked. The trem bar has never even been out of the plastic bag it came in. I may get a 2nd Strat though and on that one I'll use the trem.
Members faberbz
Never use it. But now after reading this, I want to put it back on and mess around with it.
Members mister natural
dive only - lightly & occasionally
Members mrbrown49
All the time, but only use it for a bigsby-esque shimmer, or light bends and vibratos.
Members T-Pot
Using the trem to give little wobble to chords or ends of phrases has become second nature to me. So much that I instinctively keep on reaching for the bar on hardtail guitars - and I always go like *WTF - where's the damn wiggle stick?!*
Members Brocken Jr.
I decided to look for Teles over Strats specifically because Strats had trems.
Members AVisme
The results confirm what I've thought for a long time: more hardtail strats are needed. Members scuzzo
nope, threw it away and worked on trying to develop a good vibrato.. i know folks say a good one set up will not go out of tune... but i have found that no matter how you ballance it its always going to go a few cents flat... or may cents flat... Members billybilly
I use it whenever I use high gain, which is often. I prefer it floating. When diving just down and back to level and pulling up, just vibrato.
Members vintage clubber
I never used to use my strat trems. Now all of my strats are set up with their trems properly!
Members BoneNut
I'd have to look for my trem bar, it's around here somewhere. I have it locked but at the floating specs and a five springs in it. Sounds really good that way.
