Members 3 Headed Moses
Probably because my Progressive/Technical/Black metal band has been more active than my stoner rock band, my LTD 7-string F has been my most inspiring guitar. Even more than my Gibsons.

Members MorganB
Actually cheaper ones that I mod because it is my own sound, although for recording it best to use a finer instrument to produce sounds people are familiar with, the exception is EVH who used his own cheap creation to become a standard! Members bluesfella
I have three different electric guitars that are really different. One Strat, one Ibanez shred guitar with a floyd rose and hot pickups and a LP-ish guitar. They all put me in different moods to come up with {censored}.I do keep going back to the Strat most of the time. It's just such a nice, versatile guitar. Members Ancient Mariner
If I'm in a rut then usually a different style of guitar. There is something about playing a guitar you have to work a little harder with, but nothing as masochistic as an acoustic guitar.

Members thecornman
The time of the day and the mood I am in are what effect how creative I am! It doesn't make much of a difference which guitar I grab if I am not feeling it. They are all just tools to get the job done to me. Different ones might steer the direction I am going when being creative though.

Members McHale
Martin acoustic. I can play any guitar but when I sit with my Martin, it's almost a religious experience.
