Members Guitar Heel
GH, your Giffins are REALLY nice.Tell me about them. Thanks Bb! From you, high praise to be sure. Unfortunately, this is my only Giffin at present, as I traded my Model T for this one, but I've just come to really like Roger's work. Both guitars are simple in many ways, but perfectly constructed. I love that you can pick up this guitar and tell that it was made by hand by one person. The neck is a modified 59, and that's really a big selling point for me. This and the PRS wide/fat are the most comfy neck carves that I've found. I've spoken with Roger a couple times about ideas I have for a custom Standard, and I'd really like to go that route someday when I'm able. To me, that would be a great marriage of the wonderful construction of this Paxton, with some of the bling of a PRS...

I've been looking for ones that fit mine but never found ones that were drop in replacements without redrilling holes. Yours looks like stock rings.
