Members Professor Tom
Very neat, better looking than a chunk of cheap pine. Is this one of your own designs?
Members Floyd Rosenbomb
No sir, a blocked trem is the devils work shop, I will have none it. (Neat way to do it tough!)
Members brandass
Looks like a great solution. Depending upon price, of course.
Members liko
I prefer to have the dive option when I want it. Flattening the trem without blocking it is the best of both worlds; tuning stability and a hardtail look, while still allowing some vibrato. Members 1001gear
I use wood blocks and they seem to act as acoustic coupling and I'm pretty sure the tone gets a hair fatter in this state. Compare to just screwing the bridge down.
Members Knutsaq
Why would you still need the springs with that? Looks interesting, but seems to just deck the bridge, which can easily be accomplished by putting 5 springs in and screwing the claw all the way in. Springs cranked just enough that bending a string won't allow the bridge to deflect. No pull ups but I never use them anyway.

If you were using a pot metal block that size wedged with a piece of plastic, I am not surprised.
