Members SYMBOLIC
Diggin the green sparkly. What is the snare? If it were me playing that kit, I would be constantly hitting my left elbow on the table/sink at the edge of the picture. Is it as close as it looks? Members manoeuver
That snare is the Heirloom maple stave snare I won back in 2009. I promptly had to stop playing for various reasons but now Imma make up for lost time. I've named her Patience. haven't smacked an elbow in the table yet. that's where my new HD recorder's going to live. thanks!

Members lsits
Not a new kit, but a new set-up and a new reso head for the kick. Got the two rack toms off the bass drum and on to the cymbal stand.
Members cdawg
looks good. i wish i could get comfortable with that set-up. i just cant play with my hat that far over to the left.
Members lsits
Actually, it's not that far over to the left. I used to sit facing straight forward with my kick angled about 30 degrees to the right. Now my kick is facing straight forward and my body is angled about 30 degrees to the left. My two rack toms are still pretty muck in front of me and the high hats still in a playable position. Also, they're 16" hats.

Members 1001gear
Many, many drummers rake their kick drum like that; more projection or maybe more bounce or something. How is your pedal attatched?
Members zzzxtreme
I dunno what I'm doing lol. my friend set it up properly 3 days ago. today I re-arranged everything, I'm not a drummer though. all corners have in-wall bass traps. well, thought it looked nicer at the corner.
