Members badgersghost
I put one on my MIM tele. Seems fuller, more in tune playing open chords and the G and B strings play a lot nicer with each other. On the other hand, when I play bluesy, I think it takes away that tiny bit of dissonance needed for a bluesy sound. Little bit of a mixed bag, but I'm still glad I did it. IMHO. Members gardo
I don’t play enough open strings for it to make a difference
Members Ancient Mariner
It always seemed like a solution looking for a problem. Great idea, but generally un-necessary except maybe for problem instruments.
Members badpenguin
Only had one guitar that could have used it, but it was fixed by reversing the bridge saddle. So, no, never had a guitar that needed it. I can see it being useful on an acoustic. Maybe?

One of those things when you run short of ideas on modding a guitar.
Members nethanpaul
Your experience with Seymour Duncan Psyclone pickups on your MIM Telecaster offers some valuable insights. On the positive side, they provide a fuller sound, improved chord intonation, and better string interaction, which can suit various music styles. However, they might lack the slight dissonance blues players often seek, potentially affecting their "blues character." While these pickups offer versatility beyond blues, it's essential to consider personal preferences and musical goals before making a decision.
