Members pathofspirit
Do you folks recommend 250K or 500K pots?
Members DeepEnd
I've heard good things about 500K pots with noiseless pickups. No firsthand experience though.
Members Floyd Rosenbomb
Dimarzio recommends 500K with a .22 cap. That's what I use and like it fine.
Members pathofspirit
OK - 500k it is! Thanks.
Members Grant Harding
Kinman uses 250K for theirs in their harnesses for SC and use an automatic 250K/500K switching system when mixing them with humbuckers, just like my Anderson does. If you find the 500K too bright you may want to try 250K in that guitar with your pickups.
Members badpenguin
Always have used 500K in my pots. Experimented with a 25K as a tone control a few times, and found that singles liked it, hums, not so much.
