Members sainty
I think the idea behind the name is that it is your #1 delay; standard, straight forward, simple.
Members capnbringdown
If it sounds good, is tb, isn't noisy, and is pretty cheap, I'd say it sounds pretty kewl. It'd be nice if it had an expression jack out. Yeah, it's kind of utilitarian, but most of the other bells and whistles I don't use anyway, not that I use delay all too much anymore either. Modulation in delays creates chorus, flanging and vibrato sounds. The #1 Echo doesn't need it. The #1 Echo with 2 seconds of delay time will be outstanding for it's low price. You know the price? Members Gremson
It'll be a plus if it's 9volt powered too.

Members Mxr20
open up a DMM and see if you can figure out how to put what's in there into a small enclosure. i'm suprised so many people are so quick to break bad on ehx without the pedal even being out and without knowing the price. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Surface-mount_technology
Members Liberty Belle
I be gettin one on release, its EHX,so id say it will be really good.I hate digital but I'm giving this one a try because its EHX,small,2 seconds. As for the name, who gives a {censored},its not gonna change what it does.If it turns out to be sick it will be regardless of its name! Members elctmist
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Surface-mount_technology Seriously doubt they'll be able to source the Panasonic bucket bridge delay chips as SMT. Is there an alternative? I can't see there being enough demand to get chip companies to work on SMD BBDs.
Members Liberty Belle
Ya dont need SMD chips, just everything else would be SMD.You could get it at least as small as the polyphase and still use bbd's.
Members Lanefair
For what it does, I'd say that's just too big compared to boss and ibanez delays out there. Oh and less functional.

Members Godin73
If it has the good analog tone like the DE7, then this is just that: a good sounding delay in the lower segment with TB.
Members tom_s252
What's it gonna do that a Digidelay or a DE7 doesn't do? Look cooler, possibly.
Members Liberty Belle
Well its true bypass (i know it will be because all other XO's are and EH aint stupid enough to use non tb today), smaller and lighter for a start. Its also EHX which actually has a nice sound, not at all generic and sterile like some other companies.Since its digital,i guess it'll be between $80 and $120 maximum. Phil O'Keefe
Mike, any chance we can get more information please? Specifically, I'd be interested to know... Is it voiced (via filtering or whatever) to sound like an analog delay? Maximum delay time? MSRP? Thanks!

Members L6Sguy
it's a pedal idea that doesn't excite anyone and is made by like 2,000,000 other effects makers... where exactly can i get 2,000,000 choices of TB digital delay? this pedal is the net result of a community's obsession with all things TB, moreso than sonics.
