Members MojoFilter
I don't have "a" sound, per se...it depends on what kind of gig I'm playing. The four amps that I use on a fairly regular rotation are: Mesa Road King II v.2 (either with a 2x12 or 4x12")'64 Vibrolux ReverbDRRI (when I don't want to take the '64 out)Fender Cyber Twin SE (when I don't want to take the Road King and a pedalboard out) Those cover just about all the ground I need covered. Members mrweems
Depends on the setup.Twin Reverb. (6l6)Ac30. (el84)1977 Princeton Amp (6v6)Dr Z Maz Jr. (el84)Alot of ground covered. Those are the four i own at the moment. Where the Maz is at my parents. It suffices for any kind of tone i'd want with the basis being clean. Now there are a few amps i have yet to try out and own.Jcm 800 2204Reeves Custom 50 / Hiwatt DR 50 (both with fane speakers in 4x12's / 2x12's)Tremoverb head (2x12 closed back V30's)And for kicks.. i'd like a Swart, VibroChamp, Hc-30 as well to fill in some holes. Of course the swart would be used for gigs instead of the princeton. The HC-30 would replace the Ac30 live and in the studio probably. And the Vibrochamp, {censored}.... everyone needs one of these!though if i had my way. I'd have a stereo setup:Pending on what guitar.. Tele = el84's Sheraton(or if my setup in the future changes to a nicer ES series guitar) = TwinI'd like something on stage to be Twin (or something lighter and better)HC-30 (some cab loaded with celestion blues)JCM800 (this would replace my Rat/Shredmaster situation) The amp itself would be my dirt. Heavy dirt that is... And then Smaller gigs... Swart Space tone / Sheraton
