Members KnewMono
Like in your bedroom, living room etc practicing, jamming by yourself or just making noise for no reason... I play on volume at 4 (clean) on a VC30 thru 2x10" jensens in my bedroom
Members ambient
My band space is at home. The drums are as loud as they are going to be. My amp is probably betwen 1/3 and 1/2. Maybe less as it's mic'd and we are all headphone'd.
Members attic
Twin Reverb on 7.I don't negotiate about that.
Members Strat87
Very quietly, I live in an apartment. Practice is a totally different story: Bassman 100 w/ matching oversized 4x12 on 7-9 (depending on the day) with the channels patched together. 'tis loud. Members goldie-gold
Twin Reverb on 7. I don't negotiate about that. I love your attitude - it gets a big Me - I play very quietly at home. Disappointingly so. I live in an appartment.Used to live in the middle of the countryside so I could crank the {censored} out of my amp. Not any more.At practice - loud as hell as my drummer is a {censored}ing nut case.
Members Ming Chow
Depends on the time of day and if they girl is home or not. If I'm just jamming. Usually right before it starts to hurt. Practicing, I'm usually a little bit quieter.
Members Ambient Exposure
Depends on my mood, but as loud as I want. It's my house so I don't have to worry, and my Mrs NEVER complains about my music. (and I stay up until 2am playing guitar basically every night.) Members frankiej
Depends on the time. I usually play in the middle of the day. My DC-5 usually has the master up at 5 and the channel volumes at like 5 as well. Everything shakes.

Members SharkMinusBear
I haven't moved into my own place yet since I graduated, so I play my amps pretty loud... but not wallshaking loud.

Members cleverbastid
I usually push it pretty far during the day, but at night I keep it reasonable because I live right above the director of housing unfortunately. I have shaken the walls here before but it's clearly a bad idea. Can't wait to move, the tough part is going to be finding an apartment close to the center of boston that I can actually play music at.
Members huskerjohn
How loud? It depends on who you ask. My wife and kids would all say way to loud. I want to turn the volume knob up a few more clicks.

The basically sums up why I bought my own house, because I was sick of compromising to other peoples needs. My only close neighbor saw me loose the REALLY plot at someone in the 1st week I moved in so they don't complain , but they live far enough away for me to play as loud as I want. Plus their pianists who stay up till all hours of the night.

Members Ambient Exposure
I could never crank the Reinhardt up after dark without causing a ruckus or causing all the pecans to shake loose from the trees. I had a similar problem with my Fender DeVille on 12 in my last house.I thought the windows were about to blow out. Last time I ever did that....... Members tvrf21
I use an Laney LC15R, it's so loud I can't turn it up much at home, even at band practice anything around 12 o clock is a bit too loud! I just put it at around 8 o clock or use my Line 6 Pod X3 Live with headphones.
