While we have had a few 100+ days, they've been relatively few and far between. IOW, it's been a fairly mellow summer, so I really shouldn't complain - but since my huge yard needs mowing pretty badly, I'm sure I'll be doing plenty of complaining when I'm out there mowing later this afternoon. Phil O'Keefe Posted August 28, 2009 Share Posted August 28, 2009 And a "steady job" it is - I have to mow it weekly, or it gets so overgrown that it chokes my mower - thus the NEED to mow it today. I'm pretty proud of the way my yard normally looks though. I've had several gardeners in the past, but none of them do as good of a job on it as I do myself, and when one of them killed my apricot tree by spraying weed killer on the sprouts around the base of it, that was the final straw, and I've been doing it myself ever since. Most tourists hardly know it exists, but its where that awesome street light show happens and is by far my favorite part of Vegas. The strip sucks and will rob you blind if you go to a fancy restaurant with a group of people. I especially liked messing with those guys who make flick sounds with the porn ad cards.
