Yeah I've tried the Skinpimp and it was quite good but i have high expectations for the Sola MKII. So it should be good. but I'm #200 so I've got some time to go. Just don't tell Donovan.
:whisper:

But the RV MKII is awesome! Great amp with it's matching cab its a beast.

Damn, that's going to be a bit of a long wait..at least it gives you time to save up monies for when your name comes up. :thu:

Nice selection of amps you have. What does the Gibson offer that the Maz doesnt?

The Maz doesnt have the same *body* that the Gibson has. Perhaps it is the offset speaker combo or just simply more wattage 18 vs. 30 but I play them at the same time, in stereo anyway so its not like I have to choose one over the other.

The Maz records better then the Gibson and it doesn't weigh 90 {censored}ing pounds. The Super Goldtone is very heavy.

In terms of realistic GAS?

Next purchase will hopefully be a Ring Thing. After hearing Bill Ruppert's clip I was mightily impressed by the pitch shifter section. Much better than any Whammy I've heard. (Not for sounding like a Whammy pedal, but for sound quality, tracking, etc)

After that I need a pedal power supply

And I would really like a Boss DD-2 or another big chip DD-3.

And then a new amp. The most pressing concern presently but the least affordable.

After that I'm reasonably set for basic sounds. Until a few years down the graduate employment line when I can maybe start thinking about some better guitars and amps. Probably some kind of switching system. And an Effectrode Tube Drive.
