I can get Tele-like spank on the bridge, fat, and clear sounds on the neck and blend in the middle pickup in any position for the Strat-like quack in varying degrees. They are quite low output pickups so they have some air in the sound, not the punchiness of humbuckers, and beefier than single coils. The new Ampeg really gets along with it!
