Members erksin
This was excellent - love Joshua Redmon. Do you have the 'New York Stories' disc he did with Roy Hargrove and Danny Gatton and others? It's killer.

Do you have the 'New York Stories' disc he did with Roy Hargrove and Danny Gatton and others? It's killer. I haven't heard that one actually. I'll have to get a copy of it. I'm listening to 'Back East' at the moment, one of the best trio records since Rollins' 'Way Out West'. His Elastic Band is great too:

Members JRBain
Yes indeed. First Circle is a wonderful piece of music. I find that one a little odd because of the female lead vocal as opposed to Pedro Aznar. But it's a great rendition. However I dared not post it in my first example of his music. I really like it, myself. Lyrics can really spoil music for me, but the human voice is a wonderful musical instrument.

Members TheHarakiriEnd
Yusef Lateef is sometimes overlooked IMHO. Toby Driver (Kayo Dot, Tartar Lamb, Maudlin of the Well, Gregor Samsa) studied under him and learned his Autophysiopsychic Music, which influenced Toby's whole astral projection writing thing.
