Members Frankenstrat86
for a tim they usually go for $225-250 timmy about 160-200 depending on person and version
Members Crxsh
Anything close to $200 would be a good price.
Members driverhasabomb
$225-250 is dead on. Anything lower than $225 hit it immediately. I once had a guy on craigslist give me all kinds of {censored} for selling a Timmy for $
Members lucid origami
I thought a Tim was a transparent overdrive? Does it really command that price? Wow.
Members driverhasabomb
I thought a Tim was a transparent overdrive? Does it really command that price? Wow. They're $160 new with anywhere from 2 months to a year wait depending on which dealer you go through.
Members Frankenstrat86
its cuz of the long ass wait to get one. it's simply supply and demand showing its ugly side. to be honest though those two pedals are really well done. you don't know it till you own one i guess. Members Jules-RM
It's the best ever OD for stacking. Doesn't {censored} with your sound, just makes it louder and more overdriven. I no longer stack my ODs, but I enjoyed it while I did.
Members lucid origami
I actually stack the dirt for the band I'm in (shoegaze, ambient rock thing) and run it in an ls-2 loop so this is relevant to what I'm doing. The transparent overdrive I'm using is a Keeley bd-2. How's the Tim/Timmy different from that or different to just using an EQ pedal?
Members eco1
ok, i have to chime in here: I have own more pedals than i can remember (and quite a few amps) The Tim-Timmy are the best OD pedals i have ever owned!!!! It is a transparent OD, but what a beautiful transparent pedal it is! When you stack the Tim, you can stack it with the Pink Panther for all i care and it will sound like heaven. Anything that goes thru the Tim-Timmy sounds better, it is like owning a piece of heaven on your board. This is my board, which is really a good board and i have much more expensive pedals than the Tim on it, but if i need to keep just one pedal..... you've guessed it, the TIM would be it!!!!
