Members eric.chambers Posted October 18, 2011 Members Share Posted October 18, 2011 I was digging around in some old CDs and found a demo of an old band from about ten years ago. After a quick listen I found the stuff sounded better than I remembered. The girl you see in the picture was our singer, but quit the band just as we were preparing to record so the drummer stepped up to the plate and did the vocals. Not too horrible for a guy who never sings. I guess his vocals work well enough for a simple punk group like ourselves. Any way, the band broke up shortly after and the recordings never really got mixed properly, so it doesn't sound quite as I imagined it ten years ago. I was playing bass in this group and I was recorded direct and it sounds kinda meh to me. The first one is an instrumental surf/punk number that I wrote. I also play both bass and guitar on this one, but the guitar was only meant to be a scratch take and I {censored}ed up a little on the second verse.
