We recorded it more or less live in the studio, with bass and some guitars overdubbed/replaced later. Very few overdubs. We pretty much just wanted to get our live sound on tape as much as possible. SM58's and some condenser microphones for guitars, some lower-EQ'd microphones for bass.

 

Reverb on the guitar tracks is basically amp reverb spiced up with some Logic Space Designer reverb on top.

 

My rig for this track: Early 70's Japanese Epiphone Crestwood - ZVex Fuzz Factory - ZVex Box of Rock - Boss CE-2 - Strymon Brigadier - Music Man 212-Sixty-Five combo. Our other guitarist used a Gibson Les Paul Studio into a bunch of pedals, ZVex Distortron and Empress Superdelay are probably his most essential ones on this track, into a Laney 50-watt head.
