Fincher is an awesome director... last 20 mins were rushed... didnt know if this was to fit in connecting material to the sequel book, but solid movie

I have 400 movies in my queue so unless I have a solid recommendation it would still at 380 for a year
Members juri
why? I have seen all three and I saw the american version as well and I think the originals are at least as good... But if you like waiting then that's cool as well... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1132620/http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1216487/http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1343097/
Members drunkinminer
I won't be watching the remakes because that's all that seems to be coming out of Hollywood these days. They take a Great movie (Foreign or otherwise) and {censored}ing butcher it. I'll stick with the originals.

Members lotlizard
The remake is a good film. If you have watched the original film, then the remake is an okay film. I thought Daniel Craig did a better job in his role than the girl who played Lisbeth. However, I believe trying to follow Noomi Rapace in the role of Lisbeth Salander would be the equivalent of replacing Eddie in Van Halen circa 1980, so she deserves some credit for taking on a challenging role. Members hotmess
Okay, I just finished reading The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, watched the Swedish film, and the American film. Here's my take: The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo is pretty good, but I like The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo better, either way, neither really compared to The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.*

Just watch it in swedish, you'll live. I'm still dreading the day somebody tries to remake Oldboy.

They could remake Monster Squad and I would give it a chance. ... ... ...

Members yanktar
I've read all 3 books and seen all 3 Swedish movies. I was truly baffled that they were remaking it in English. If it's not at least as good as the Swedish originals, which are EXCELLENT, then what's the point?
