Members briansr
a friend of mine plugged a 18v 300mA (adapter from the pigtronix philosophers king, on my board) into my soundblox pro multiwave dist (rated 9v 150mA) i unplugged as soon as i noticed, (less than a minute) the thing was blinking, then i tried the correct power supply, it powers up, and the lights work but when engaged it emits a loud buzz and knobs are not responsive, when bypassed the signal is not affected. do i now have a 220 + shippin paperweight:cry:?.. or do you guys think theres a possible fix, maybe a replaceable component or somethin? (i just wrote an email to soundblox, ive heard their customer support is very good, but i dont expect an answer till monday and im going crazy)

Members macadood
make him get you a new one for sure. let it sit for a bit and try plugging the 9v adapter in again. i would think it has some kind of voltage protection id be surprised if its completely fried, but i guess you'll have to wait for sounblox to get back to you
