Members Hand Amputation Posted November 14, 2012 Members Share Posted November 14, 2012 I bought this BC Rich Mockingbird 'Classic Series' about 6 months ago and while I love it, I need something less 'metal'. It has a beautiful figured top, neck-through construction with sculpted heel, classic headstock (with truss rod cover, not pictured), classic cloud style inlays, and molded BC Rich hardshell case (like the one in the stock photo). The pickups have been upgraded to a Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge (zebra) and a Rio Grande BBQ (black) in the neck. This guitar can cover a cast array of tones, and sounds utterly fantastic. The bound neck is straight and the action is very low. Guitar is in 9.5/10 condition. There is one tiny nick in the lower horn that is barely noticeable, and other than normal playing wear you'd think it was brand new. Will entertain offers. I am looking for a single-coil equipped guitar. I'd love a Classic Player Jaguar, a nice Strat, but could be open to other guitars. Also interested in cash, but it'd have to be a good offer. No lowballs or crap guitars. ------------------------------------------------------------------ALSO------------------------------------------------------------------ Fender MiM FSR Double-Fat Stratocaster up for trade. Guitar is in almost perfect condition. There's one nick in the finish that is too small to photograph. Since the pics I have added Graph Tec String Saver saddles and a replacement switch tip cover. Action is low and it sounds great. Has 5 way switching so you can cop Strat or humbucker tones. I'll include the case if the right trade comes along. Interested in other interesting guitars. It is a circuit bent Boss PS-2 attached to some Texas Instrument device and loaded with controls for some real mash up effects. As PS-2's get harder to locate, Rabbit Holes become rarer. Great all-tube OD and drive tones with a versatile EQ. Into any clean amp you can a three-channel setup. Low noise even at high gain which is great. $120 DOD Analog Delay. DOD made these all along with the MN3005 chip. Great clear repeats and usual analog delay fun. These dont get enough respect but IMO they are superior to the Boss DM2 in sound quality. $100 Stealth Bender. MKII Professional with Tropical Fish caps, carbon film resistors, and great OC75 transistors. $180 MP Sweet Honey OD copy. Has the proper opamp and all.
