They're all about the $$$, the reviews are ads in disguise, and most of the mags are ads anyway! they only get away with it because guitarists are usually gear heads and don't seem to mind reading about products too much. I still buy the odd guitar magazie but now prefer to read Metal mags like Revolver, Kerrang etc. at least they feature more on actual bands and not the same 3 or 4 acts. (guitar world love - Metallica, Pantera, Megadeath, etc. They obviously sell mags and I love these bands (except Megadeath) but come on!!!!!!!!
