Funny, your schedule is almost like mine !! I'll be landing in Brussels on the 13th to do some sight seeing before the game in Stutgarth (I can't spell the name of the city...)

I love when Kiwi rugby players pick up the best player in the world, smash him head first into the ground, put him out for months and act like nothing happened.....all at the same time ;)

Ah, only messing. Yeah i HATE soccer players acting injured. Messi was ridiculous against chelsea last week but Drogba is the worst. I HATE him. What a {censored}

that would be my son's dream come true!
except you'd have to throw portugal and france into the equation-he'd die if he didn't get to see c.ronaldo, henry, zidane and figo.

although the mexico v. germany game in the federation cup proved to me those teams could be spectacular as well.

i missed the chelsea/barcelona game last week....any good?

the chelsea-barcelona was interesting.. not the most elegant-technical game but very entertaining... delhorno (what an asshole of a defender) got red at the end of the first time... messi was a constant fear, ronaldinho was good at the end of the second half... chelsea made the first goal (owngoal), then barcelona 1-1 (owngoal terry), then 1-2 eto'o (brilliant goal)... chelsea needs to win with 0-2 in nou camp to qualify... don't think they will make it..

thanks for the run down!

is it just me or has soccer really received a boost of publicity in the last 2-3 years? many of my non soccer friends are actually hip to many of the best players---unheard of when i got started playing soccer in the 70's.

Prob in the US, case here in South America and in mostly Europe soccer always being on top of everything.

In every country is always two main forces that leads a country: politics and religion. Brazil's probably the only one who have three . . .

But, yes, in the last years soccer have gained not just publicity, the figures are now quite impressive.
