Members The Audacity Works
First Novation, and now Moog? Did I pass out and wake up right before Winter NAMM? Is it mid January 2011 already?

Members willi
They have admitted they are developing a polysynth, although I would not hold my breath that this is it. Is that basically an integrated CP-251 and VX-351 on the left? Plus a pitch bend strip? Looks sweet.
Members mrcpro
I'd have an easier time believing this if it was based on the OS. Patch cords (real ones!) and programability - I dunno you guys tell me how that's supposed to work.
Members carbon111
Maybe it IS a poly! I seriously doubt it based on layout and the patch panel.

Patch cords (real ones!) and programability - I dunno you guys tell me how that's supposed to work. I think the patch panel is just for a little "extra" modulation - apparently it only adds an extra LFO and ribbon output...the rest is just the ins and outs that would be on the expander or back panel. Members soundwave106
From Moog Music's Twitter page! Real or Fake? Lets hope its real! No mention of it on their Twitter page actually... I did find a "mc202.com" with this, and a claim that it costs $5000. Hmmmm....

Members ChristianRock
I think it has "Mediterranean" written all over it. I don't think it's real. It's from a personal home page belonging to a Gearslutz member, who started a thread on it earlier today. The panels don't even align as properly as you'd expect for a 5 grand synth. I think it's real. It was at some reseller sites and one news site but the pages have now been pulled...rather quickly I might add. The preorder page at BCM is now gone as well. ...someone leaked too early I think.
Members raffor
I smell fake. Look at the line between the two additional modules.
Members carbon111
I smell fake. Look at the line between the two additional modules. The panel consists of two polycarb overlays. I've got a larger pic. As I said, It was at some legit reseller sites and one news site but the pages have now been pulled...rather quickly I might add. Someone leaked the news too early. Members poserp
I smell fake. Look at the line between the two additional modules. Check the reflections of the knobs on the ribbon controller and black keys... I say real. EDIT: Nice -- aftertouch available via CV outs and the ribbon too... EDIT: Also, Big City Music had an announcement (according to Google) up at one time -- http://bigcitymusicblog.blogspot.com/2010/09/moog-voyager-xl-coming-to-bcm.html Higher-res pic: http://trashaudio.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Voyager-XL-Click-Image-to-Close.jpeg
Members ElectricPuppy
Mmmmmm... secksay. I can see the patch panel being useful if you focused mainly on creating on-the-fly patches and not using the stored patches.
Members moog man
Wow that thing looks incredible. Polyphonic would be amazing! Hard to believe that they would make it semi modular and polyphonic though. Goddam Moog why do you make such amazing stuff that I would give my left nut for
Members brandonm
Looks real. They moved the inputs from the top to the front and added some sort of Voyager Expander+, ribbon controller and 61 key. I doubt it is poly. I don't think they would call it a Minimoog if it were. Members mrcpro
Gearslutz moderator DS has been in contact with Moog and I guess it's real - just leaked earlier than they had planned. I really thought it was Photoshop so it's caught me by surprise.
