  1. About the PF-synth, could be a prophet5 I guess.... A wiki-search came up with this: Personnel * David Gilmour - guitars,[11] [11], pedal steel guitar [11], Prophet-5 synthesizer [11]. vocals (refrain) [11] * Nick Mason - drums[11] * Roger Waters - vocals (verses) [11], bass guitar [11] * Richard Wright - organ [11] * Lee Ritenour - acoustic guitar [11] * The New York Orchestra [11]
  2. -Led Zeppelin - No Quarter - Uses what type of keyboard synth to get that sound? Sounds like either a Wurlitzer or Rhodes MKII with heavy tremelo (or maybe through a leslie speaker??) About the PF-synth, could be a prophet5 I guess....
  3. This is why your post count sucks. wanna take it outside? :poke:
  4. I think a "let's agree to disagree" is in place here for some people.
  5. I think you mean Hai Guyz! I have not yet posted there u_u. But yeah, that's a better example (allthough this one is coming along nicely as well).
  6. Certainly. But please make no mistake when you say you're not forcing your beliefs in this context. That is simply untrue. This thread is actually just an incredible postcount-booster. Nothing more. NOTHING!.
  7. government has existed for a VERY long time, yes. Democratic based governments like nowadays? Surely they're not even remotely the same? Just because the bible tells something that could be appropriate some 4000 years ago, that doesn't have to mean that it still does today, right? Different times, different situations if you ask me..
  8. Just becasue "you think" doesn't mean you're thinking, or, you know. Right, sorry about that one... But is it true or not?
  9. It's something that is recommended in the bible for christians to do, to pray for the people that we have in government. I thought the bible was written way before there even were governments...
  10. Obama has laid out the framework for destorying the country as we know it. Well let's see here... - You're in an economic crisis and dragging the rest of the world into it - A lot of people outside the USA don't like the way how your country thinks that it needs to "protect the world of terrorists", but you're bombing innocent people yourself - Both are to blame on the republican policy of the last 8 years Don't you think change is good? Retorical question, because you'll never admit that Obama will change things and McCain will only worsen them. I myself wanted to go on a trip to the US next year, but I'm actually scared to go... I still have a picture of the NY skyline in my room, and some paintings of the empire state building. I'd love to see it some day, but not if your county is the same state it is in now. I think I'll wait till after the announced economical recession, hoping the USA will restore itself to it's former shape, the way it was when Clinton was president: a great nation that does not invade countries for vague reasons. Just my point of view btw, I might be totaly wrong on this one...
  11. I guess my attempt to derail the thread has failed I guess not anymore...
  12. I think everyone is entitled to their opinion or belief. If I agree with that or not, that's my problem... I try not to rub it in someone's face most of the time, but I sometimes feel that it's neccesary. Some things just need to be said. Are you being disloyal to Our Precious One? Are you a racist?
  13. O HAI. Is it even safe for me to post in this thread? Prolly not. Or maybe, just don't have opinion and you'll be fine. Barack Ohitler is on tv right now
  14. It doesn't matter what you think of McCain, a vote against Obama is a vote against New Nazism. I mean, if you ever wondered how an "intelligent, sophisticated" electorate could allow someone like Hitler to ascend to power, wonder no more because you are witnessing it right here during election '08. History is clearly lost on the Obama Koolaid drinkers. I'm sorry, but wtf? Do you actually know what you are saying? Just because you don't agree with someone's point of view does not mean that you have to compare him to Hitler... That is offensive in so many ways... As an outsider (European) I haven't followed both campains that well, but I think Obama is the lesser of two evils. Think about the choices, a grandpa that's half dead allready and a probably not experienced enough senator. If I were an American, I'd probably not vote, but if I had to, Obama would get my vote. Btw, I find your avatar really uncool. Quite childish and untasteful.
