Members Bassified Posted April 2, 2007 Members Share Posted April 2, 2007 amps in this case could be $500 to 700. tube amps seems a bit fragile on road so it may break if your amp is not of good quality a good old soild state amp for gigging purposes or just for ittube amps may use in studio so not break when others listening live music on stage you can get a decent amp why go for a fender hot rod deluxe specifically when there are other non-tube amps that are more versatile. fender hot rod may do cleans well..but what what what if you want distortion? adding a line 6 pedal distortion pedal? no right? perhaps when buying tube amps look into more expensive ones Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
