Members keanu reeves
haha thanks.sometimes i listen to it and i love it. then other times it sounds too.. well. just not as mature as i envy.btw. what do you mean by that last sentence? like. i dont know what those words put together are trying to say. you mean if i did cut out the whole section of song from 3:09 - 3:24 it would be perfect? as in the song doesnt hold its own when it is as long as it is? like too repetitive? Yah, that's what I meant. I left out a word or two, don't know why. Too much or too little coffee at the time perhaps.I think that last 15 seconds kind of dampen the energy you build up for the first 3 minutes - at that time I sort of snapped out of my involvement with the piece and thought "should have moved on by now" which you do at 3:24. Prior to that the rhythms make sense and don't seem repetitive. Mind you, that's just my taste - like I said it reminds me of a Ruins piece in the way the rhythmic passages are like melodies. Members bruto
Another One: Jungles of Vega Korg TR Rack, Roland MKS-50, Yamaha YS-200, and Acid drum loops. Acid Planet uses WMA, which changes the EQ somewhat. The mids are really weak. I'll re-EQ it tomorrow night. (I worked on this all day today, and my ears are sore!) Members Etienne Rambert
Suzy Wong is All Right I've been in Vietnam a year next month. I finally bought a synth last month. It was an old JV-30. I had been trying to compose on the *acoustic guitar for ten months. The selection of used synths here is lousy. It's a very poor country. I'm flying back to the States next month though. I'll bring back my Le76. That will dazzle the Saigonese. They make some *fabulous hand-made acoustic guitars here though folks. I keep seeing photos of those stunningly beautiful beaches." Hi. Yeah. The beaches are nice. But Saigon, city I love, is becoming unliveable. The traffic, the pollution. I'll come back to the States for a couple of weeks in Oct/Nov. Then I'll be back home, somewhere in Saigon. Yeah. I really saw "World of Suzie Wong" on Cinemax here in Saigon. I've seen it 3 or 4 times now in a year. Cinemax Asia runs the movie every couple of months or so. It's showing again next week. The film is really timeless because it was shot on location, in Hong Kong, before HK became a huge, gleaming center of capitalism for Asia. HK once was kind of a shabby, romantic city back in the 1950's, apparently. William Holden, Nancy Kwan, George Dunning's score are all fantastic in the movie. But if you ask me, old Hong Kong is the real star of the film. It's a place and time that have vanished forever.

How do you folks feel about it? Nice! I for one, like FL. One on these days I'll reload it and start using it again. (I'm in my module phase right now.) And I've heard many great things done with Reason, although I've never used it. Keep up the good work.

Members Tony Scharf
This is not my usuall stuff, but I sometimes like to run out these atmospheric tracks too.http://www.chasingzero.com/music/Ephemeral.mp3 Basically its a patch I did on my Norg G2. I played a few notes and put it into keyboard hold mode. the patch consists of a sine wave, metalic noise and white noise generator run through a series of short, modulated delays. I do a little tweaking while its playing. enjoy...or not.
