Members JBecker
Searching now man, trust me. In Absentia is the best introduction, and depending on what you're into more, you should explore in either direction of their discography from there. Later stuff is heavier, long compositions, earlier stuff is more ambient/atmospheric and experimental, long compositions. Think more stuff like Gravity Eyelids from In Absentia. Members blargh
Blargh...can you post your settings please? i dont remember too well, i've already changed everything...probably the gain knob pulled, both gain knobs around 7 or 8, treble around 7, mids wherever, bass around 4. Presence about 4 (pushed in), and the graphic EQ close to flat except the mid slider pulled down to the mid-low line. I have to use completely different EQ/presence settings for my G12H30 cab and my MC90 cab, so your mileage may vary. Mid-gain/full power, too. Members Randy Van Sykes
Sounds great! Enjoy seeing Porcupine Tree? ...best live show I've ever been to (saw them a few weeks ago in Toronto) I walked out thinking they are better live than on CD. Members 17 Tubes
You are going to have to give up some more information. This recording isn't from just fiddlin' some mics around... a condensor into an Audio Buddy preamp. Not so much the amp settings I'm concerned about. What was your hard and software? What dynamics were applied? Etc.And yeah....I'm jealous. Members JBecker
Thanks I want to show a friend that Mark series amps can sound like something other than Metallica. This is easily my favorite Mark clip.
