  1. This PCI card has served me well for years, and works flawlessly with very low latency. Includes breakout cable for MIDI/SPDIF connections. Drivers were rock solid on both systems I've used this in (one Windows XP based and one Windows 7 x64 based). Looking for $45 shipped. More info here: http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/Audiophile2496.html PM me if you're interested! Joe
  2. This is a SP VTB-1 preamp I got last year. Sounds great, and very versatile with the Tube/SS blend knob. I'm getting rid of it because it's time to upgrade to more inputs/outputs. Used very little, and in like new condition. Includes original power adapter. Looking for $100 shipped to the continental US. Shoot me a PM if you're interested!
  3. I have 4 spools of Canare GS-6, which is IMO the clearest sounding wire for guitar/keyboard/studio patching that I've ever come across. Two of the spools are still sealed, and the other two have had some wire cut from them for guitar cord use. The wire on all of these spools has never been used and is brand new. Here are the lengths and prices of each: Red spool, 100m (328 feet) - $230 shipped Blue spool, 100m (328 feet) - $230 shipped Blue spool, 90m (295 feet) - $205 shipped Red spool, 70m (229 feet) - $160 shipped Here's info from Canare's site: http://www.canare.com/ProductItemDisplay.aspx?productItemID=61 Shoot me a PM if you're interested. Thanks!

  6. Inevitable parody thread in 3....2.....1 Yep I'm looking forward to "Does anyone else randomly smell cock?"
  7. 30 days , BUT , be the stand up guy here. I know its a pain , but getting rid of his drums would be a dickhead move imo. Karma man. Do a good thing and you will be rewarded in one way or another. Sell them and send him half the cash. Fixed!
  8. Guys...cans of beer are not "canned goods" as in non-perishable food. The same rules don't apply at all. Also, of course a friggin dent in your can of beer doesn't matter.
  9. Why would you drink beer out of a can? Seriously? You are aware that keg is also a large can, right? Some of the best beers come in cans...Young's Double Chocolate Stout, Murphy's, Guinness, etc.
  10. I talked to Arend. I'm pretty sure I'm going to go ahead with this. Doing a bit more research on other options. You know...I've always wanted a raw rock rig and the thought of getting a Tele is making me also really want grab a Ceriatone Hiwatt 504 clone.
  11. Ok so someone tell me in simple terms what is the difference between a MIM, MIA and Highway One Tele? Which is the best and why?
  12. Also, SCs plus a 6505+ is tits. I think it'll be good, but the only thing I'm worried about is noise. Then again, I won't be using the lead channel all THAT much.
  13. Here's one I'd recommend. Put in a lil 59 or whatever tele sc sized HB in the bridge and a coil tap. Then you'll have Tele looks, a heavy sounding bridge pu as well as some in between Strat sounds. Is that an American or Mexican? This thread is amplifying my GAS
  14. I know I'm being a snob here, but I think I want a real Fender. Don't you think a MIM Tele for $499 would be better than a Squier anyways?
  15. Thanks guys. I'm planning on playing in a new band with this...style is going to be experimental mixed with post-hardcore and some ambient elements. My EC-1000 has been my workhorse for a long time, but I don't think it can do exactly what I want for this band. I'll be using the 6505+'s rhythm and crunch channels a lot, and only really going to the lead channel for solo/lead work here and there. The sound I'm looking for is big and jangly with a good amount of grind when I need it. So that brings me to the next question...which model of Tele would be the best? There's a lot to choose from. I would like to keep it under $1000 if possible.
  16. I've always wanted a Tele and I've been seriously thinking about pulling the trigger on one lately. I'm just wondering how they mesh with a 6505+. Will this cause a paradox and rip a hole in the space-time continuum?
  17. The only metal I really like is Scandanavian style melodic death bands like Insomnium and old In Flames. I like them more for their strong sense of melody though. I like a couple djent musicians, but they get old quick unless they are really outstanding like Cloudkicker, for example. When I listen to music to enjoy it, I'm usually listening to something other than metal though.
