Members ranalli
I love the early Suicidal Tendencies stuff....namely the Join the Army album...great stuff in between punk and metal. Are there any bands that were in this kind of in between genre that I might like?

Members rushtallica
The Crucified, though they were a xian band out in the late '80s-early '90s. And of course a good amount of other bands that were part of the crossover. But ST's first album is my all-time favorite from the punk genre. Members K.platyops
Also check out other Venice bands like No Mercy (had two ST members in it), Beowulf, and maybe even Excel. Corrosion of Conformity of course. Also, some of the old 'thrash' stuff, not thrash metal, but thrash punk. Battalion of Saints, the Abandonded, later Wasted Youth. There's also a Wiki listing for 'thrashcore' bands, which is the label they use for thrash punk. It also includes DRI and many morehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thrashcore

I don't remember who the guitarists were. They were a bit different from ST. I saw Infectious Grooves open for ST many, many years ago. That was an awesome show!!!! Members Psychotronic
If you like early ST, find an album by "the Brood", which were the guys who wrote all the songs from the first ST album. Good stuff, though quite obscure.
