lead singer (and I think only original band member) of old school punk band Social Distortion.

Indeed. Social D goes through drummers like Spinal Tap, the original second guitarist died and the original bass player left to be Christian.

If you ask me, though, their current lineup is the best it's ever been. Two of the three replacement guys are from Mike Ness' solo project.

Thier original bass player, was thier 2nd guitar Dennis Dennel.:cop:(Huge Social D fan, just busting balls)

Brent Lyles who played on MLM was a douche

John Maurer who played on all the other records was the best.

Good point. I forgot about that. Mauer was with them so long I just considered him the first. :)

I think Harding is their best yet, though. Same with Charlie Q. and Johnny.

Of course, mang.

If you think this is cool you should come to Austin/Texas. We've got local bands that master in this kind of stuff.

Trust me, it's on my list of things to do.

One day, I want to see The Reverend Horton Heat play on their home turf. :thu:

The Rev is the {censored}. Ive been listening to The Legendary Shackshakers recently. If you like the Rev you'd probably dig them. :)
