Members ericwylde
NEW REFINISHED GUITAR DAY! got an airbrushed camouflage for my lawsuit les paul the guy asked if i wanted the "papercut mask" esp style camo, but i prefer the smokey airburshed pattern it has a thin nitrocelullose lacquer, not polished for a smooth satin look the guitar is a japanese 15-20 years old Hurricane made by Moridaira/Morris (the brand that endorsed Marty Friedman and Jason Becker back in the 80's and made the japanese Bill Lawrence and acoustic Fender guitars): it was a regular black lp custom then now

Members ericwylde
The paint job looks dull and blurry. that was exactly the idea i hate shiny and fancy colored cartoon-like painted guitars and that would be totatlly stupid for a camouflage thanks, guys

Members Erock503
congrats Eric! Looks pretty sick man. If I was going camo, I would prefer that kind too as opposed to the other style. Looks like a pro job man, glad you are diggin it.
Members OverDriven
that was exactly the idea i hate shiny and fancy colored cartoon-like painted guitars and that would be totatlly stupid for a camouflage thanks, guys But camouflage IS hard edged. Just search "camouflage" on google images. I think that the blurriness kinda throws off the camo effect, and it looks more like an abstract design using camo colors rather than looking like camo. Still cool though, and to each his own.
Members DyeMusica
Digging it man, loose that pick guard and you got a win!I like the camo myself...

Members tsunamijesus
I would normally hate this type of thing, but I'm kinda diggin it for some reason. same. i like the blurry camoflauge too, it's not nearly as cartoonish and it makes it less of a knuckle dragging metal guitar
Members guitarbilly74
I think it came out really good too, but I'd add black hardware, finish the sides and remove the pickguard and the ring around the switch. If you want to go metal, you need to go all the way
