Gibson totally detached from what the customer really wants as per usual.

Members JPIndustrie
They are. MSRP'ing it @ $2700? For a abortive guitar design that didn't work in whatever time it was originally released? They're out of ideas.
Members The Anomaly
1. I don't like Gibson, or the way they do things. Having said that, their "not having new ideas" and blah blah, doesn't seem to be hurting them one bit. We can complain all we want about that, but it's not like they are going away or anything. Members pioneerprogress
Everything they are releasing is complete fail. Why can't they just go back to being good at what they CAN do?
Members Romanian Reaper
I heard that when you dive bomb on the tremolo version, chum shoots out of the back, for that "Jaws" effect.

Members Cibyl
That's the first thing I thought of when I saw the guitar. Gibson should owe Ed money for ripping off his original design.

Members FastRedPonyCar
This is also immediately what I thought of. And immediately after that, I thought of how ed said in some interview how awful the instrument sounded after he cut that giant chunk of wood out of it then tried to compensate by adding those metal pieces but didn't help.Good job gibson

Members drstone
Everytime someone buys a zoot suit sg, the guys at gibson all have a laugh to themselves. Its like they sat around at a design meeting one day and said "Lets just make the most retarded abomination ever to have six strings, and see how many morons actually buy it" Makes me wonder how the {censored} theyre still afloat. Then I realize... outside of the internet, gibson is still seen as the king of guitars.
