Members frankiej Posted February 26, 2010 Members Share Posted February 26, 2010 As I'm sure your all aware (those whom care at least) the semi's for the men's are today at 3:00 (USA vs Finland) and 9:30 (Canada vs Slovakia) I believe. Who do you guys favor to win each game and get into the gold metal game? Personally, I wanna see the grudge match between Canada and USA once more and this time we'll see who wins when it matters. However, I am very surprised that Slovakia beat Sweden...just doesn't seem right. If Canada plays their game (like they did against the Russians) I have no doubt they will win. As for the Finland vs USA game; they both have solid goaltenders. At one end you have Miller, whom I think as kept them in this tourny the whole time. That way our American counterparts could say they would have beat us again and it wasn't a fluke the first time around. (I know, homer point of view) I went downtown last night and the atmosphere is pretty insane. I watched the fireworks and at the end, people broke out into Oh Canada.
