Members 17 Tubes
I can't begin to tell you how many favorite 80's songs I have. I think it's one of the most diverse, best made (sound quality), best musicians decade ever. I just heard this one on the radio:

Members JetCityMatt
I can't begin to tell you how many favorite 80's songs I have. I think it's one of the most diverse, best made (sound quality), best musicians decade ever. Man, that is the truth. I wish I had been searching out my own music for myself when I was 9 in 1986 instead of listening to my parent's crap. There are so many 80's songs that are fantastic. Not only is it impossible to choose the best 80's song, it impossible to choose the 10 best 80's songs! For ME it has to be Tears For Fears, "Everybody Wants to Rule the World". For this thread, it's hard to argue with "Don't Stop Believin'", one of the best songs ever written, but (even though I'm a huge Journey/Neal Schon fan)... that's a very pop sounding song, while, TO ME, the 80's thing makes me think of the more Euro pop sound. Someone mentioned " Take On Me " by AhaHow about " Something About You" Level 42 "True" by Spandau Ballet "Don't You Forget bout Me" Simple Minds U2, Guns 'n Roses, Journey, Bon Jovi, Queensryche, Dokken, Rush, Dire Straits, Michael Jackson, Foreigner, Bad Company, Toto, Heart, The Police, Chicago, Elton John, Tears For Fears, Whitesnake, Stevie Ray Vaughan... this is an impossible task!
