Seriously, though. My brother just about joined the Navy this September. Backed out at literally the last minute, but due to his physics degree and willingness to go nuclear tech, he would have gone in as E-3, and had a pretty fuckin' sweet deal going. In fact, he probably would have joined if they hadn't fucked up his papers when he flew up to basic the first time. By the time they straightened it out, he'd decided that he just didn't want to cut his hair. We're still not sure how serious he was about that.
