Members Texassranger
Well apart from not being a tube amp, I'm kinda beginning to like this unit! [video=youtube;pxcuh2tVRiI]

Members Razsan
guys...what am I missing??? That sounded like a fuzz box. Is it my computer speakers? Mark Day's clips seem to sound fine over my PC but that did not??? Very thin and raspy.

Members Mr. Brady
I went back and listened to some of your real amp clips of the recto. I really couldn't tell much of a difference. The one dual recto clip you had did sound just a little warmer, but in the end they both sounded really good.
Members sahlomonic
Great stuff as usual, Ola. I think the snax is my next major purchase. Hooray for upcoming tax season!
Members Texassranger
Thanks guys, I must say that I've always struggled to get a sound of the Axe Fx that I could somewhat use for a professional recording. But I'm getting there.
Members soilent
Ola, what sort of recording system are you using now? I know you use Logic, but are you still using Apogee interfaces? If so which one?
Members Texassranger
Ola, what sort of recording system are you using now? I know you use Logic, but are you still using Apogee interfaces? If so which one? I switched to Focusrite Saffire 24 DSP since I needed more inputs and modes. I'm happy at the moment! But you can use the Axe Fx 2 as a interface if you want!
Members cavemanic
thought it was pretty easy for you with the ultra? do you find there is much of a difference? I have just got the II (and own an ultra) and was suprised there was a bit of a difference
Members soilent
How would you compare the sound quality between Apogee and the Focusrite (and even the Axe II if you've tried it)? I'm seriously considering an Apogee Duet right now.

I'm seriously considering an Apogee Duet right now. Not worth comparing. Not for me at least. Sure the Apogee preamps are great, but the focusrite works better for me. I hated the breakout cable thingy with the Apogee, 2 of them broke for me :/
