Members thefyn
don't know these guys but that was really good Type O Negative are awesome... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFbhcy6u9w8 The singer/bass player died recently. Way too young. One of my all time fave bands. Hey Bacchus She hates me Hey Bacchus She hates me The street lamps light a wet old red hook road A furry vino tinted slave Molten oil painted brooklyn bridge (cobblestone grave) A lonely blue girl guards the river bed She shakes her brown torch at the tide On pier six we'd creep and count the cracks (side by side, see, we're counting cracks) Your mom was out wearing herself inside I'll stop the train to say hello A used boyfriend's just bought her this new car (I said I know) -Togetherburn- She said burn Together Burn We'll burn together Now don't believe she'll never leave again I can't forget the words she said way back when She said burn We'll burn together

Members FearTheVoices
Layne Staleys last song with Alice in Chains in 1999 called "Died" ...It was about his girlfriend Dimetri obviously, she had died back in 1995 or so and that when layne headed downhill bigtime. Everyone said when she died so did he... I could climb until I reach where angels reside Ask around to find out where the junkies applied You just up and left me on this rock all alone It's my fault for knowing not what I should have known Ohhhhhhhh My heart is dried up, beating slow Ohhhhhh It's been deflating since you... Died Died Since you... Died You... Died I could drop until I touch the sinister side Visit all attractions flippin' back and aside Still you leave me rotting on this rock all alone It's my fault for knowing not what I should have known Ohhhhhhhh My heart is dried up, beating slow Ohhhhhh It's been deflating since you... Died Died Since you... Died You... Died Ohhhhhhh My heart is dried up, beating slow Ohhhhhh It's been deflating since you... Died Died Since you... Died You... Died I could climb until I reach where angels reside I could drop until I touch the sinister side Ohhhhhhhh My heart is dried up, beating slow Ohhhhh It's been deflating since you... Members colejustesen
I always thought that the line in Mad World, "The dreams in which I am dying are the best I've ever had." was always really sad. It totally goes with the vibe of the song. Cole

Members Yarbicus
Yeah, this song has come up many times for good reason. For me, it is: And you could have it allMy empire of dirtI will let you downI will make you hurt The whole song is just beautifully sad:

Yeah, I'll listen to that New Miserable Day album and almost every song will get me kinda weepy - then when you find out one of their main lyricists got kicked out of the band just before they broke big and then ended up killing himself it winds up just weighing on my mind. John Mayer, Slow Dancing In A Burning Room. To be honest, the entire Continuum album was a lyrical masterpiece. Battle Studies however. Was not. Members Keebz
XMAS DAY - SevendustOne step in the dark, touch her hand just to see if she's all alone again Still she hasn't seen sun, but I promise you now when she wakes there will be none Don't know how she gets by, sleeps with a phone on her chest and a bottle that's totally dry Forgets the day I was born but if she saw me right now, she would hold me until we both die I could be the one who would die to feel you breathe. I could break into a million pieces so just run as fast as you can for me You mean everything I can't deny her. I'll do whatever to stop all the bleeding that makes her world so red Such a delicate one. She screams so loud that I run to hide from the sound And I could be the one who would die to feel you breathe But it's too far gone, and this love must die.I could be the one who would die to feel you breathe. I could break into a million pieces so just run as fast as you can for me You mean everything
Members InnerVision
Stop me if you've heard this one before:A man walks into a bar and leaves before his ashes hit the floor.Stop me if I ever get that far.The sun's a desperate star that burns like every single one before. And I could find another dream, one that keeps me warm and cleanbut I ain't dreamin' anymore, I'm waking up.So I'll take two of what you're having and I'll take everything you gotto kill this goddamn lonely, goddamn lonely love. Members Nerine
And all this crass communication that has left you in the coldIsn't much for consolation when you feel so weak and oldBut if home is where the heart is Then there's stories to be toldNo, you don't need a doctorNo one else can heal your soul Got your mind in submissionGot your life on the lineBut nobody pulled the triggerThey just stepped asideThey'll be down by the waterWhile you watch 'em wavin' goodbye They'll be callin' in the morningThey'll be hanging on the phoneThey'll be waitin' for an answerBut you know nobody's homeAnd when the bells stop ringingIt was nobody's fault but your own There were always ample warningThere were always subtle signsAnd you would have seen them coming But we gave you too much timeAnd when you said that no one's listeningWhy'd your best friend drop a dimeSometimes we get so tired of waiting for a Way to spend our time And it's so easy to be socialIt's so easy to be coolYeah, its easy to get hungryWhen you ain't got {censored} to loseAnd I wish that I could help youWith what you hope to findBut I'm still out here waitingWatching reruns of my lifeWhen you reach the point of breakingKnow it's gonna take some timeTo heal those broken memoriesThat another man would needJust to survive
