Members GAS Man
Gretsch 6128T-1957 Duo Jet The natural (with some red in it) mahogany color took me by surprise. I thought they were ALL black. But that's cool. Looks like a 3-piece back, but it's purdy wood. Check out the funky old style open gear tuners. Also, the inspection tag says July '05. So did my Setzer that arrived Wednesday. They are obviously cleaning out some NOS. Definitely brighter than the Setzer with these DynaSonic pups. But that's what I was going for. The high strings are pretty rough from sitting in a warehouse. I'll have to call them and ask for strings. I think we'll have a long loving relationship. Time to buy a Beatles catalog tab book. Until then, "Ticket to Ride".

Members Roy Brooks
That's pretty. I got a Country Classic a few months ago and still have it. If I were to get a second Gretsch it could very well be a Duo Jet or Roundup. Though I am tapped out for awhile after having picked up a 1956 ES-175D.
